The GBIF datasets are a subset of those availale with other datasets, such as the ARC Species Database, being availalbe via the National Biodiversity Network Atlas or by direct data request to ARC.
Run by British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) in partnership with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), Birdwatch Ireland, the Scottish Ornithologists' Club, and the Welsh Ornithological Society (Cymdeithas Adaryddol Cymru). BTO data are not available via GBIF but are available on the National Biodiversity Network Atlas. BTO data are not available via GBIF but are available on the National Biodiversity Network Atlas. The paper describing the Breeding Bird Survey, including its field methods and analytical protocols is available here and associated data are available on Zenodo. These data do not include "sensitive" species, as listed in the repository.

The United Kingdom Butterfly Monitoring Scheme (UKBMS) is one of the longest running insect monitoring schemes in the world. Occurrence data from the UKBMS is on GBIF. Analysis outputs, such as species abundance indices and species abundance trends, are produced annually and are available to download from the UKCEH Environmental Information Data Centre (EIDC). The count data is not currently available online but is available on request from the UKBMS.
The Marine Biological Association (MBA) has ? occurrence records available on GBIF. The data are from a number of research projects in the UK and worldwide.
